THINGS I USE TO KEEP MY CLASSROOM ORGANIZED!!!✨✨🩷

Keeping my classroom organized is definitely something that I need in order to best do my job!!! Check out some things I do around my classroom to keep it organized!

✨ my color coded rolling cart is a MUST for keeping all copies and assignments organized!

✨ having a space for small group materials has helped me out so much. I highly recommend finding some sturdy tubs and labeling them. This has helped me be more intentional with small groups! ✨ Having a supply box is a MUST for keeping all of your supplies organized! You will always need to find something quickly when students are around so make sure to get one of these!

✨my students love having an organized area where they can find all of my extra materials and utensils!

✨FIND A WAY to keep and store all of the anchor charts you make! I used to shove them in closets and they would get all wrinkled. Using a command hook is a great way to keep these organized.

✨PENCIL POUCHES: each student has their own pencil pouch at the beginning of the week with 5 sharpened pencils. Throughout the week, if they need a new pencil, they can grab from their pouch. If they end the week with 5 pencils, they get gum! This helps keeps kids organized and eliminates excessive use of the pencil sharpener! I have it as a job for a student to sharpen the pencils on Fridays.

✨label your turn in trays to make grading easier 💖

✨this clipboard organizer is so CUTE and the perfect way to stay organized

✨keeping headphones organized throughout the year can be a TASK! I love this pouch for keeping my kids headphones in one place

✨TEACHER TRAY: I use this tray for all things that are returned from home or other notes/special things that I have students do

what are some of your favorite organization tips?? Let me know which ones you like!!💖💖

... Read moreOrganizing a classroom is crucial for fostering an effective learning environment. One great method is to utilize color-coded storage systems and labeled bins to categorize materials, making it easier for both students and teachers to find what they need quickly. This strategy not only minimizes clutter but also enhances the learning experience by teaching students responsibility for their shared space. Consider implementing a weekly supply rotation with individual pencil pouches for students. This helps manage usage while also creating a fun incentive (like gum for maintaining pencil stocks). Another effective tip is the use of hooks or racks for displaying anchor charts instead of hiding them away, allowing easy access for reference during lessons. Headphone storage can also be a challenge! Keeping them organized in a dedicated pouch simplifies distribution and collection, saving time during transitions. Don’t forget to create a 'Teacher Tray' for papers requiring attention – this ensures important notes don't get lost in the shuffle. Using these strategies can help maintain a pleasant and organized classroom atmosphere, proving beneficial for both teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
