SUNDAY DINNER (TURKEY WINGS)
This delicious Sunday dinner was definitely a hit for my family. I absolutely loved how these turkey wings turned out so I’m going to share it with you guys.!!!
🦃TURKEY:
I had a total of four turkey wings, and I cut them to make a drum and a winget.
I seasoned up the turkey wings with everything in the pictures and cook them in the oven covered for two hours at 400° on the top shelf of my oven .
(they were falling off the bone)
•SEASONING•
chicken bouillon
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Roasted Garlic and herb
paprika
Sazon (2 pcks)
Rotisserie chicken seasoning
Italian seasoning
Olive oil
Cornstarch
(After you clean your wings and cut them if you’d like I applied olive oil and rubbed all over the meat and then I season my meat until my heart was happy and rubbed it all together and then I took 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water mix, cornstarch, and water together, and then pour it over the top of the turkey wings.)
{cut your bell peppers into medium thin slices, and also cut your onion and then add it after you’ve done the seasoning and added your cornstarch mixture}
[if you would like to add a turkey gravy packet, you can definitely do that. Just follow the instructions on the package. I did that and added it after I did everything above.]
🥬 CABBAGE:
I boiled my cabbage in water until semisoft. I also added onion powder and garlic powder to this water to add light seasoning flavor to the cabbage. .
I sautéed red onion slices and bell pepper slices until soft And then I added my cooked cabbage with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and rotisserie chicken seasoning and let that simmer for about 15 minutes. And for the cabbage, you can add whatever type of meat you would like I just added some bacon into mine.
🍞 CORNBREAD:
I just got the basic Jiffy box of honey cornbread I followed the instructions on the box and then I added, honey, and sugar to my heart was happy to make it sweet because my family likes sweet cornbread, and I put them in a muffin pan .
🍠 YAMS:
I got a basic can of yams that you can get at any store location I added brown sugar, vanilla extract, and a little portion of regular sugar, and let it boil on the stove until the juice becomes thick .
And then I added a few marshmallows, mixed it in and then added mushrooms on top and let it simmer until marshmallows on top or melted, and added cinnamon powder .
