I AM DONE WITH THERAPY!

New thing added to my night routine is to DUMP MY THOUGHTS FROM MY BRAIN!

As year 28 draws to a close, I've been reflecting on the biggest lesson I've learned: “FOLLOW YOUR GUT INSTINCT”

This year, I made the decision to prioritize how I feel about everything!! And let me tell you, it's been transformative. If a person, place, activity, or anything makes you uneasy or uncomfortable—- DO NOT IGNORE IT! That initial feeling is valid!

And that’s why I’m quitting therapy! I know therapy is a process and it can evoke a range of emotions and experiences BUT I feel much more relieved, empowered, and motivated by a list of things I’ll add to another post. I wanted to work on being emotionally intelligent so I thought I’d give it a fair shot!! Long story short, MY BOUNDARIES ARE MY BOUNDARIES! Saying no to things that don't serve you, and yes to the things that do is just the era I’m in and I’m embracing every moment of it!

I've discovered that choosing yourself isn't selfish—it's necessary. You DO NOT owe anyone an explanation about nurturing your spirit, protecting your peace, and filling your cup first.

shoutout to all the women who are resilient and find their own therapy sessions throughout life’s daily lessons! ♥️❤️‍🔥

Many people find themselves at a crossroads, questioning traditional therapy methods. The importance of listening to your gut instincts often emerges as a pivotal focal point in personal development. Embracing your own needs over societal expectations can lead to transformative change. Establishing firm boundaries not only fosters self-respect but cultivates healthier relationships with others. For many, this means saying 'no' to activities or individuals that drain energy, and 'yes' to what truly resonates. There's a profound sense of freedom in validating one’s feelings, paving the way for emotional expertise. Emphasizing self-care in your routine can also mean engaging in hobbies that bring joy and tranquility. Whether it's journaling to dump thoughts, practicing mindfulness, or pursuing creative outlets, making time for oneself can significantly improve mental well-being. It's also vital to celebrate resilience, particularly among women who navigate life's complexities. Transformational paths often originate from listening to our inner voice, prompting the need for authentic self-expression. So, take a step back, assess what fills your cup, and prioritize your peace. Remember, nurturing your spirit is not just beneficial; it's essential. Choosing you isn’t selfish; it’s a requirement for a fulfilling life.
