I’ve been reading about the whole pink flamingo thing and safe to say I’m starting to feel like me again. FINALLYYYYY!!! Updates on my divorce that should’ve been final are gonna be posted later this week. 🥹

It’s WINTER ARC season!!!!!!!!!!!

I have only one thing to say about the rest of this year and every day after;

... Read moreHey everyone! Building on my initial excitement about diving into Bodyrok, I wanted to share a bit more about what makes this workout absolutely incredible, especially for anyone looking for a powerful shift in their fitness routine – or even their life! You know how I mentioned the "JUST DO IT" mindset? Bodyrok truly embodies that. It's not just another pilates class; it's an experience. Imagine traditional reformer pilates amplified – slower movements, but with so much resistance and focus on form that every muscle fiber screams (in a good way, I promise!). I've been to a few studios in my life, but Bodyrok takes the cake for intensity and effectiveness. Each class is a full-body challenge, targeting those deep stabilizing muscles you didn't even know you had. My core has never felt stronger, and I'm already seeing changes in my overall strength and definition. For anyone out there, maybe like me, going through a big life change – whether it's a new chapter, a fresh start after a divorce, or just seeking an "EXIT" from old habits – Bodyrok can be incredibly therapeutic. There’s something so empowering about pushing your physical limits and proving to yourself how strong you truly are. It’s a mental game as much as a physical one. When you're trembling on that reformer, pushing through the last few reps, you're not just building muscle; you're building resilience. It’s been a huge part of me feeling like myself again, finding that inner strength when things outside felt chaotic. If you’re curious about trying Bodyrok, whether you’re near a new opening like mine or searching for a studio like Bodyrok Haight, here are a few tips to get you started: Don't be intimidated: Yes, it’s challenging, but every instructor is super supportive, offering modifications for all levels. Just go at your own pace! Wear grip socks: These are a must for safety and stability on the reformer. Most studios sell them if you forget. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate: You'll sweat more than you think! Listen to your body: It's okay to take breaks or modify. The goal is to challenge yourself safely. Embrace the shake: That trembling sensation? That means your muscles are working hard and getting stronger. It’s a sign of progress! The instructors are phenomenal, constantly correcting form and motivating you to push a little harder. The music is always on point, creating an energizing atmosphere that makes the 50 minutes fly by. It's truly a full-sensory workout that leaves you feeling accomplished and invigorated. My body has never felt this challenged and rewarded simultaneously. So, if you’re on the fence about trying something new, especially a high-intensity pilates like Bodyrok, I say take the leap! It might just be the "EXIT" you need from your comfort zone and the start of a stronger, more confident you. Trust me, your body (and mind!) will thank you. Find your closest Bodyrok and just do it!
