No todos merecen conocer tu versión más fuerte.
Throughout my personal journey, I've come to realize that strength is often born from the cracks of our most vulnerable moments. Breaking down can be painful, but it’s an essential process for true healing and transformation. Not everyone in our lives understands or respects the battles we've fought internally, and that's perfectly okay. I used to try to share my complete self with everyone around me, believing that openness would foster deeper connections. However, I learned the hard way that not everyone appreciates the depth of struggle behind the resilience they see. Some people may even unintentionally diminish your progress by failing to recognize the gravity of your healing journey. This realization taught me the importance of discretion – to reserve the visibility of my strongest self for those who genuinely honor the path I've walked. It’s a form of self-protection and respect for our own growth. When we value ourselves enough to set these boundaries, we empower our healing and maintain our emotional peace. Moreover, sharing your healing process selectively doesn't mean isolation. It means creating a circle of trust around you, a small community that not only celebrates your victories but also understands the scars behind them. This community fuels your confidence because it values your story as a whole. In practical terms, I recommend reflecting on whom you share your vulnerabilities and triumphs with—are they supportive, insightful, and respectful? If not, it's perfectly healthy to withhold your strongest version until you find the right audience. Remember, your growth is sacred, a testament to your resilience, and it deserves to be cherished by those who truly appreciate it.
