Do’s & Don’ts Hair care edition: ⬇️
Do:
1. Pre wash: (apply argan oil) to
lengths of hair to moisturize hair strands before washing for (10-20 min) ⏰ This will prevent dryness and provide shine to your hair. ✨
2. Massage your scalp 5-10 min everyday to stimulate hair growth overtime. This will also thicken your hair if done consistently. 💆🏻♀️
3. Invest in a good quality hair brush to avoid breakage. Hair care does involve which hair brushes/tools you use, so you want to make sure you’re using quality products. 🤌🏻
Don’ts:
1. Do not apply your hair care products like (hair oil, leave in conditioner, heat protectant) while your hair is almost 80% dry. You need to apply those products while your hair is still damp, so those products can fully absorb. Hair is more absorbent when damp. Applying products while your hair is still damp will lock in hydration & smooth frizz which makes styling your hair more easier. ✨
2. Don’t skip out on using a wide tooth comb on clean hair while it’s damp to evenly distribute products including (conditioners & hair mask) this allows the products to penetrate & seal it’s moisturizing agents to the hair strands effectively! 🙌🏼
3. Don’t skip out on eating high protein and high fiber meals! Healthy and strong hair comes from an enriched diet containing high protein & fiber. Make sure you’re eating healthy if you want healthy hair. Don’t skip out on eggs, fish (omega 3), avacado, etc. 🥑🍳

Taking care of your hair involves more than just washing and styling. To enhance the health and appearance of your hair, incorporating some essential habits can make a big difference over time. For example, pre-washing treatments like applying argan oil to hair lengths for 10-20 minutes provides deep moisture, preventing dryness and adding natural shine. Argan oil is rich in antioxidants and fatty acids, which nourish hair strands and protect them against environmental damage. Regular scalp massages are known to stimulate blood circulation, encouraging hair follicles to grow stronger and thicker hair gradually. This practice also helps to relieve tension and can promote relaxation. Massaging your scalp for 5-10 minutes daily could significantly improve hair density when combined with consistent care. Investing in quality hair brushes is often overlooked but vital. Brushes with smooth bristles reduce breakage and hair damage, especially for those with long or fragile hair. Using the right tools means less mechanical stress on hair strands, promoting healthier hair growth. When using hair care products such as oils, leave-in conditioners, or heat protectants, timing is crucial. Applying these products when hair is about 80% dry rather than fully dry ensures better absorption. Hair is more porous and receptive in the damp state, which helps lock in hydration, reduces frizz, and enhances styling results. Additionally, using a wide-tooth comb on damp, clean hair after applying conditioning treatments helps distribute the product evenly and prevents tangling. This technique allows the moisturizing agents in conditioners and hair masks to penetrate deeper into the hair shaft, improving softness and manageability. Beyond topical care, remember that healthy hair starts from within. Nutrition plays a critical role in hair vitality; consuming a diet rich in high-quality proteins and fiber supports hair strength and growth. Foods like eggs, fatty fish (high in omega-3s), and avocados offer essential nutrients that contribute to vibrant, resilient hair. Implementing these do's and avoiding the common don'ts can transform your hair care routine, helping you achieve your hair goals with healthier, shinier, and stronger hair over time.
