This is what you actually need to know about your hair growth journey ⬇️
1. Limiting heat exposure for as many days as possible is important for your hair health & hair growth. This includes flat irons & curling irons. Even when using heat protectants, you’ll eventually deal with heat damage, flat irons are frying your hair. Stick to using blow dryers with medium to low temperature settings. Also invest into a blow dryer with different speed/intensity settings. ✅
2. Clean out your styling + detangling brushes. Also clean out the filter of your hair tools. This should be done at least once a week if not twice a week. All of the build up, oils, and hair products transfer to the hair care products you use on the daily basis. It’s important you clean them regularly. 🧼
3. Start massaging your scalp on a daily basis. This can be done with oils or without. I usually massage my scalp without any oils, to avoid build up. Scalp massages improve circulation of blood flow towards the hair follicles for potential hair growth. 💆🏻♀️
