I don’t want to do it😭😭😭

... Read moreWhen trying to differentiate between mammals and reptiles, it can sometimes be tricky, especially when you look at animals with diverse features. From personal experience visiting wildlife parks and zoos, I've found it helpful to focus on some key characteristics such as body temperature regulation, skin type, and reproduction methods. Mammals are warm-blooded animals with fur or hair and usually give birth to live young, while reptiles are cold-blooded with scaly skin and lay eggs. For example, lions, zebras, baboons, giraffes, and elephants are all mammals—notice their fur and the fact that they nurse their young. Conversely, crocodiles, snakes, and lizards showcase scaly skin, making them clearly reptiles. An interesting fact I’ve come across is that elephants sometimes make purr-like sounds when they're happy, which is quite unusual among large mammals and can be surprising to hear firsthand. The distinction between birds such as ostriches and mammals also stands out — ostriches, being birds, have feathers and lay eggs but might be confused due to their mammal-like size and behavior. When viewing framed photographs or diagrams of animals, visually segmenting them by these characteristics helps to understand which portion represents mammals and which reptiles or birds. This approach not only aids learning but also adds appreciation for animal diversity and adaptations in the wild. Practice this by observing animals in videos or nature documentaries, paying attention to their physical traits and sounds, which brings the classifications to life beyond textbook definitions.
