Brunch spots around LA 🍳

Los Angeles

... Read moreOkay, brunch lovers, let's dive deeper into why these three spots are absolute gems for anyone looking for the best Sunday brunch in Los Angeles! I've had some truly memorable mornings at each of these, and trust me, they deliver on being both cute brunch LA spots and genuinely nice brunch places Los Angeles has to offer. Forget just searching 'brunch near me' – these are worth the trip no matter where you are in the city! First up, Bluey's in Mar Vista. This place totally captures that laid-back, sun-drenched Aussie vibe, and it's perfect for a relaxed weekend morning. The atmosphere is just so welcoming and bright. I always find myself gravitating towards their amazing coffee – seriously, it's a game-changer! And their avocado toast? It's not just basic; it's elevated with fresh ingredients and just the right seasoning. If you're looking for something a bit heartier, their breakfast burritos are legendary. It’s definitely one of those hottest brunch spots in LA for a reason – the quality and chill atmosphere are unmatched. It’s got that perfect casual elegance that makes it a go-to for a lazy Saturday or Sunday. Next, we have Connie & Ted's in West Hollywood (WeHo). If you're a seafood fan, this is your paradise. While it's not a direct competitor to cecconi's west hollywood menu (which has a different Italian focus), Connie & Ted’s offers a fantastic, fresh take on New England-style seafood, making it a unique standout among nice brunch places Los Angeles. Their lobster roll is a dream, and their oyster selection is always top-notch. What I love about Connie & Ted’s for brunch is that it feels a bit more upscale but still incredibly comfortable. It’s the kind of place you go to when you want to treat yourself to something special, maybe after a fun night out. It truly feels like a destination for brunch, and the vibrant West Hollywood energy just adds to the experience. Finally, Highly Likely in West Adams. This spot is such a neighborhood gem and has quickly become one of my personal hottest brunch spots in LA. It’s got a cool, modern aesthetic that feels effortlessly chic. Their menu is creative without being pretentious, offering delicious twists on classic brunch dishes. I'm a big fan of their pastries – they're baked fresh daily and are absolutely divine. Their breakfast sandwiches and bowls are also incredibly satisfying. What makes Highly Likely so special is its commitment to quality ingredients and its friendly, bustling atmosphere. It’s perfect for meeting friends, grabbing a coffee and a bite, or even just enjoying some quiet time with a good book. It exemplifies a truly cute brunch LA experience with its stylish decor and delicious food. When planning your visit to any of these fantastic brunch spots in LA, a little tip from me: always try to go a bit earlier in the morning, especially on weekends, or be prepared for a short wait. These places are popular for a reason! Also, check if they take reservations, as that can save you a lot of time. Parking in some of these areas, like Mar Vista and West Adams, can be a breeze if you know where to look. So, if you're like me and constantly searching for the next amazing brunch experience, make sure to save these three. They truly represent some of the best Sunday brunch Los Angeles has to offer, each with its own unique charm and delicious offerings. Happy brunching!
