... Read moreOkay, so I spilled the tea about my amazing Dollar General Koze Place candle find, but y'all, there's even more to love about these hidden gems! Beyond the incredible Peach Nectar & Honey and Watermelon scents that first grabbed my attention (seriously, they're divine!), I've been exploring the full range, and my mind is blown by the variety for just $5 each. First off, let's talk about the scent selection. The recent discoveries really highlighted some fantastic ones I've come across. If you’re into fresh, clean scents, you absolutely have to sniff out the 'Fresh Lavender & Cotton'. It’s perfect for a bathroom or bedroom, giving off a really serene vibe. For something a bit more sophisticated, the 'Rich Mahogany Teakwood' is surprisingly complex and luxurious – it fills my living room with such a warm, inviting aroma. And for those who love fruity florals, the 'Passionfruit & Hibiscus' and 'Watermelon Mint & Agave' are absolute summer dreams, bright and uplifting. I even spotted a 'Love Immerse in Strawberry' which smells like a sweet treat without being overpowering. It’s like a whole high-end candle boutique packed into a Dollar General aisle! What really sets these Koze Place candles apart, especially for their price point, is the 'Room Filling Fragrance' promise and the mention of essential oils. I was skeptical at first, thinking for $5 it would just be a faint whisper of scent. But nope! These little powerhouses really do fill a room. I burn one in my open-plan living area, and the fragrance travels beautifully from one end to the other. The essential oils seem to give them a more natural, less artificial throw compared to some other budget candles I've tried. It's truly impressive for the bang for your buck. Finding these treasures at Dollar General can be an adventure itself. Stock varies, but I’ve had the best luck checking my local stores regularly, especially after their weekly shipments. Keep an eye out for those '2 x 3.4 oz' value packs, as they’re an even better deal if you love a particular scent. And don't forget to look for sale signs, like the 'save $3 instantly on Koze Place products' I've seen – that makes them practically a steal! To make your Koze Place candles last even longer and get the best scent throw, I've got a few personal tips. Always trim your wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn; this prevents tunneling and black soot. Let the candle burn until the wax pool reaches the edges of the jar on the first burn – this helps ensure an even burn throughout its life. And, of course, never leave a burning candle unattended! For $5, you really can't beat the quality and variety. They've definitely become my go-to for making my home smell amazing without emptying my wallet. Give them a try, you won't regret it!
