Wow, what an incredible experience it is to finally get to share your passion with the world, especially when you're a songwriter and an author! Just being there, seated with those microphones and headphones at a bustling radio station like GemsRADIO.NET 91.7 JRE, felt absolutely surreal. It's truly a dream come true to talk about the stories behind my songs and the worlds I've built in my books. As a songwriter, the journey often starts with a single melody or a poignant phrase that just won't leave your head. But the moment you hold that finished book in your hands, or see it featured, like on a radio show, it all becomes worth it. Sharing anecdotes about character development or the challenges of plotting a complex story during an interview is so rewarding. What's truly fascinating is how these two creative paths, songwriting and authorship, often feed into each other. A lyric might spark an idea for a short story, or a character in a novel might inspire a ballad. Promoting both aspects simultaneously, as I recently did at GemsRADIO.NET 91.7 JRE, allows for a really holistic conversation about creativity.
