Ingredients:
For the Lobster:
4 lobster tails, thawed if frozen
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
For the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp Dijon mustard (adds depth, optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped chives or parsley (for garnish)
Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top of the lobster shell, then gently pull the meat up while keeping it attached at the base.
Brush the lobster meat with melted butter, then season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Sear the Lobster:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tosp butter.
Place lobster tails meat-side down and sear for 2-3 minutes, until golden.
Flip and cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from pan.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same pan, add remaining butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Dijon mustard, stirring until smooth.
Simmer for 2 minutes, then add lemon juice.
Combine & Serve:
Return the lobster tails to the pan and spoon the sauce over them.
Garnish with chopped chives or parsley and serve immediately!
