Artist in Action @Darkshot Coffee
It's been a minute, but I have a pretty good excuse. I have been teaching the past 4 weeks at the community college some watercolor classes, so I haven't been able to do any paintings that weren't "class" related. BUT I will start posting again [regularly] soon. 🤗
And yesterday, I did a thing! Well, to be fair, I have done it before, and that's being the artist for the "Artist in Action" at Darkshot Coffee in Reno as a member of the Artist Co-op Gallery. I believe this is my third or fourth time doing it, and I love painting LIVE. When I paint "in the wild," I like being able to show others my process, but most importantly, talk to people who have been interested in watercolor but have been hesitant to start.
So, one of my goals is to start providing simple tutorials for everyone, hopefully, in the next couple of months (maybe sooner), AND provide the painting tutorials that I provide for my students through pateron, too!
So be sure to follow me if you are interested, and sign up for my emails since my subscribers get dibs on the information first. 🖼 🎨 👩🎨
With that being said, here are some photos of my day at Darkshot yesterday, and I plan to finish this piece in the next couple of days. 🥰
