Hi everyone, it's bbycherry here, and I'm absolutely thrilled to finally share my Tsukasa Yugi cosplay with you all! If you're a fan of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun (TBHK), you know just how captivating and a little unsettling Tsukasa can be. He's such a complex character, and that's exactly why I was drawn to cosplaying him. From the moment I decided to tackle Tsukasa, I knew it wouldn't be a straightforward project. His uniform, while seemingly simple, has so many subtle details that are crucial to getting his look just right. I spent hours poring over reference images, making sure every button and stitch was as accurate as possible. The challenge of recreating his distinct school uniform was actually one of the most rewarding parts of this whole process. Finding the perfect fabric that had the right drape and color was a quest in itself, but so worth it for the final result. And then there's the wig! Tsukasa’s hair is iconic – that perfectly messy, almost spiky yet soft look. Styling it was definitely an adventure. I experimented with different techniques to get that natural volume and slight curl without making it look too stiff. It involved a lot of hairspray, teasing, and patience, but I think I managed to capture his playful yet slightly unhinged aesthetic. It’s always fascinating how much a wig can transform a cosplay, truly bringing the character to life. For the makeup, my goal was to emphasize his youthful appearance while hinting at his darker, more mischievous side. I focused on a clean base, subtle contouring, and those signature expressive eyes. Getting his distinct smile and the playful glint in his eye just right was key. It’s all about channeling that character's energy through your expression, right? I really tried to embody his dual nature during the photoshoot, oscillating between charmingly innocent and utterly menacing. One of the biggest joys of cosplay for bbycherry is bringing a beloved character into the real world and connecting with other fans.
