20 minutes of self love💞💓

Every day I walk to and/or from work. At first it was simply because I don't have my driver's license or my husband couldn't give me a ride (he works different hours). After 3 years, I find myself still walking to work and from. I could think of all the negatives, how I've been on my feet for 8 hrs and all the aches in my knees and feet. But I know that would just make the walk slower and more dreadful.

I take this time to put on some music and just be in the moment. There's no one telling me to get them something. There's no expectations. There's just me and the trees and the occasional car that'll pass by. The chaos in my head stops for just one moment, and I'm able to stay within the now. I always need a nice walk to recharge.

What do you do to prepare for your work day or to unwind from chaos?
