Postpartum Health Journey
Day 1 of getting back into working out.
Today I biked 5 miles and it kicked my butt.
I had my daughter 16 months ago this is my starting post for accountability. It’s tough to put myself first but I know putting my health first sets the right example for my daughter

Embarking on a postpartum fitness journey can be both rewarding and challenging. After giving birth, many new mothers face obstacles in regaining their fitness, including lack of time and energy. However, it's essential to prioritize health not just for oneself but also as a positive example for children. Finding and joining supportive online communities can make a significant difference in staying accountable. Whether it’s through social media platforms like Instagram or community forums, many mothers share their experiences, tips, and encouragement under hashtags such as #postpartumfitnessjourney and #strongandhealthy. Incorporating various types of workouts, including cycling, jogging, or group classes, can help make the fitness process enjoyable. Setting realistic goals and gradually increasing workout intensity can lead to sustained motivation and success. It's essential to listen to your body and adjust your routine according to how you feel after childbirth, ensuring to celebrate small victories along the way. As you work towards postpartum recovery and strength, remember to engage with others in similar situations for advice and support; finding your ‘fit tribe’ can encourage consistency and resilience in your health journey.
