Stay rooted in truth, not just what feels right๐๐พ๐๐พ๐ฃ๏ธ
In my personal journey of faith, I've often realized that what feels right emotionally doesn't always align with Godโs truth. This can be challenging since our natural inclination is to trust our emotions as guides for decisions and directions. But as the scripture in Proverbs 14:12 warns, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death," reminding me to seek deeper discernment. One practical approach I've found helpful is to 'test everything by His Word,' as highlighted in 1 John 4:1. When I encounter a new opportunity or a feeling of peace about a decision, I pause to examine whether it aligns with biblical teachings rather than solely relying on how it feels. This practice guards against being led astray by what looks like open doors or pleasing voices but may actually be distractions or false confirmations. Peace, for example, is often mistaken as a green light from God, but true peace comes only when our hearts align with His principles, as noted in Colossians 3:15. I learned to differentiate peace that brings clarity from a false peace that silences conviction unnecessarily. Another crucial lesson is the importance of knowing God's voice personally. John 10:27 encourages believers that "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me," which means developing a personal relationship with God helps in recognizing His guidance and preventing deception. Discernment isnโt just about avoiding harm; itโs about protection and thriving in Godโs will. Hebrews 5:14 refers to mature believers exercising their senses to discern good and evil, an ongoing process for me that requires intentional prayer, study, and reflection. Overall, anchoring decisions in scripture and seeking the Holy Spiritโs guidance proved to be a compass amid confusing voices and fleeting emotions. This consistent practice provides both protection and peace, ensuring that I stay rooted in truth rather than fleeting feelings.

I was reading something like this last night..."Not every blessing comes from a good place, and not every quiet person is harmless. Some people don't come into your life to love you, they come to finish a story that started long before you. Some people thought they were writing the final chapter of a revenge story, but they forgot something important, they weren't the only ones who knew how to wait..."Be still and know that I am God" His timing is perfect. Some of the most dangerous gifts come without a reason. My God, Amen ๐๐ฟ ๐๐๐ฟโจ๏ธ๐ช๐ฟ
