I recently discovered how incredibly convenient and relaxing they are, especially when I wanted to park hop from Epcot to Hollywood Studios. The OCR tip hit the nail on the head – it's definitely a 'relaxing way to park hop'! Instead of rushing for a bus or walking miles, I hopped on a Friendship Boat from the International Gateway entrance at Epcot. It's super easy to find, located right near the exit of World Showcase between the UK and France pavilions. The journey itself is part of the magic! You get to cruise along the beautiful waterways, passing by some stunning resorts like Disney's BoardWalk Inn, the Yacht & Beach Club, and the Swan and Dolphin. This isn't just transportation; it's a scenic tour in itself. I loved seeing the resorts from a different perspective and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. When heading from Epcot to Hollywood Studios, the boat typically makes a few stops at these resorts before arriving at Hollywood Studios. Don't worry, the stops are quick, and it actually gives you a chance to see more of the Disney bubble. The dock at Hollywood Studios is conveniently located right near the park entrance, making it a breeze to get into the action. On my trip, I found the entire journey, including stops, usually took about 15-25 minutes, depending on the boat's schedule and how many resort stops it made. It's a fantastic alternative to the Skyliner if you want a water view or prefer not to deal with potential Skyliner lines, especially during peak times. Conversely, when I was at Hollywood Studios and wanted to head back to Epcot for dinner, the Friendship Boat was my go-to again. Boarding was just as straightforward, and it offered that same peaceful return journey. I always recommend checking the boat schedules, especially if you have dining reservations, but generally, they run quite frequently throughout the day. It’s also a great option if you have a stroller or a wheelchair, as it’s easily accessible. One of my top tips for using the Friendship Boats is to try and catch a ride around sunset. The views over the water as the sky changes color are absolutely breathtaking and add an extra layer of magic to your day. It’s also a wonderful way to give your feet a much-needed rest after a long day of walking!
