July 30th National Cheesecake Day

July 30th is National Cheesecake Day! 🍰

This reminds me of a super cool Häagen-Dazs campaign centered around the idea: "Let your tongue travel."

They created genuine Austrian postal stamps that tasted like their ice cream flavors! Imagine sending a postcard with a stamp that tastes like Choc Choc Chips, Panna Cotta & Raspberry, Cookies & Cream, Macadamia Nut Brittle, or Strawberry Cheesecake. Each flavor had its own unique stamp design, with 5 motifs in total.🍦✉️

Loyal customers who bought 10 scoops of Häagen-Dazs ice cream received these special stamps and postcards for free, letting them send their favorite flavors as a greeting.

The campaign was supposed to last a month, but within just two weeks, all 12,000 booklets of stamps were completely out of stock at participating Häagen-Dazs locations in Austria! And the best part? Product sales almost doubled in that short four-week period. (thisisnotadvertising.wordpress.com)

Talk about a sweet idea! What's your favorite cheesecake flavor?
