An affordable yet luxurious 5⭐ hotel! 🏨 Rooms are clean, modern, and comfy. Absolutely loved the unique round bathtub 🛁💫. While it’s not right next to the malls, Platinum Mall is just about a 15-min walk away, so still pretty convenient. The highlight was definitely the complimentary daily teatime buffet 🍰☕ (such a nice touch!) and the rooftop bar with gorgeous city views 🌆🍹. While the hotel doesn’t have a dedicated rooftop pool, the rooftop lounge area makes up for it with a stylish setting and great service. Breakfast at Akara is simple but satisfying, providing a nice selection of local and international dishes. It’s a great way to start your day before heading out to explore nearby attractions like Central World or Siam Paragon, which are accessible within a 30-minute walk or a short taxi ride. The complimentary teatime buffet from 2pm to 5pm was a lovely touch, offering pastries, cakes, and tea with occasional live performances which adds a relaxing cultural vibe to the stay. This thoughtful addition really enhanced the overall experience for me. The room’s clean and spacious design features an elegant style, especially the unique round bathtub which made bath time feel indulgent and special. For the price—around 100+ SGD per night—this hotel offers excellent value without compromising on luxury.
