Wicked Is My Curse🩵🩵🩵

The Wicked Fae Realms is probably my favorite series I’ve ever written 😊

I love the worldbuilding, the whole “fantasy” vibe, the way I can make up monsters and bad guys with very few limitations. But even as the story grew (and grew) there were two characters in the series I desperately wanted to give more page time to: Bella and Lyrae, but as the books got longer, I realized their stories would have to wait…until now.

Wicked Is My Curse is Lyrae’s standalone story, set in the same Wicked Fae Realms world (for the most past) with some scenes including the main characters from the series. It’s up for preorder now, but goes live on Monday, and will be in Kindle Unlimited!!

This book includes all my favorite fantasy tropes: enemies to lovers, stabby heroine, morally grey MMCs, and a hot af villain. This time, I’m including second chance romance and betrayed mates (because who doesn’t love a good comeback story?)

Hopefully next year I can write Bella’s story, because she deserves it🩵💙🩵💙🩵

... Read moreAs a long-time fan of fantasy romance, I find "Wicked Is My Curse" an exciting addition to the Wicked Fae Realms universe. What makes this standalone novel particularly captivating is how it expands the story of Lyrae—a character I always felt deserved more depth. The rich worldbuilding lets readers immerse themselves in fantastical settings with unique monsters and morally grey male leads who challenge traditional hero archetypes. One of my favorite aspects is the blending of popular fantasy tropes such as enemies-to-lovers and second chance romance. These themes lend emotional complexity and tension that really keep you turning pages. The introduction of betrayed mates adds an intense comeback storyline that I find deeply satisfying. Plus, the mention of a "stabby heroine" hints at a strong, dynamic female protagonist who isn't afraid to fight—something I personally appreciate. The vibe of the Wicked Fae Realms blends dark romantic elements with magical fantasy, which appeals to readers who enjoy layered plots and character-driven storytelling. Since the book ties into the larger series yet stands on its own, it’s perfect for newcomers and loyal fans alike. The anticipated release and availability on Kindle Unlimited also make it convenient to explore. From my experience reading similar fantasy romances, books that focus on morally grey characters and nuanced relationships often offer more realistic emotional journeys. I expect "Wicked Is My Curse" follows this trend, giving us complex characters that evolve through challenges and personal growth. The teaser about Ryland Storme crushing and rebuilding a character "stronger than ever" suggests powerful emotional stakes. Overall, if you love fantasy worlds rich with magic, complicated romances, and a touch of darkness, this book is definitely worth preordering. It promises not only escapism but heartfelt stories that explore love, betrayal, and resilience within an enchanting fae realm. Looking forward to seeing what the author does next, especially with Bella’s story, which sounds equally intriguing.
