Press on nails review
I've only tried a few currently but I can attest to certain brands and why I dislike or love them
💌 Brand: KISS
First brand I tried and adored! I was skeptical about the pop art style but I got sooo many compliments on them! They lasted about a week, but had to glue them back on once or twice!
👍Pros :
Soo many different styles
Their holiday ones never disappoint
Beginner friendly
🤔Cons:
Not made for hard work or activities
They bend real easily, weak material
Was overly anxious they'd pop off a lot
⭐️Overall rating: 6/10
💌 Brand: Olive and June
Maybe it's just me but I personally hated the nail wheel they came with, it made it too difficult to apply and was unnecessarily complicated. I'll stick with the nail glue instead.
👍Pros :
Strong material
Cute designs
Fairly affordable
🤔Cons:
Too tedious to apply correctly
Limited designs
⭐️Overall rating: 3/10
💌 Brand: Nail Reformation
Absolutely my favorite brand right now! I bought them on a whim 2 days before leaving for Texas this year and I was just stunned with how nice they were. I will absolutely suggest these ones to anyone who asks.
👍Pros :
Very THICC material, doesn't bend easy!
Lasts so long, mine lasted almost two weeks
Very affordable
🤔Cons:
They pop off like any other nails
Once bent they don't look as nice
⭐️Overall rating: 10/10
Additional Tips:
From what I've learned with press ons, best tips I have are buffing the inside of the nails before applying, and cover in top coat! This'll help your nails stay on longer and stronger!! Plus it gives them more of a natural look.
