Oddities and Curio collection

TWO: Wet specimen and dead animals

I've been so excited to grow my collection, my family is such a big help as well as my loving boyfriend. I was finally able to buy my first wet specimen who I've lovingly called Harry.

I've also found myself a gorgeous hobby desk of my own to start creating my own crafts, and end metal skull with antlers was made by my late grandfather (RIP🖤) and now passed onto me.

Collecting unique specimens, like Harry the beaver, transforms your space into a reflection of your interests and passions. A wet specimen, preserved in a jar, can spark conversations and curiosity among guests, making it a perfect addition to any collection. Antique furniture, such as a classic hobby desk, not only serves as a creative workspace but also adds character to your collection. Pairing your crafts with items like a metal skull with antlers, passed down from family, creates meaningful connections and personal stories in your collection. For those interested in starting their journey in collecting curios, it’s essential to research and understand the provenance of your items. Whether it’s exploring local antique shops or visiting flea markets, each item tells a story worth sharing. Engaging with communities dedicated to graveyard hobbies and odd crafts can also lead to new inspirations and ideas. Embrace your individuality by curating a collection that reflects what you love.
