1 Year
One year ago today we changed the way we market our content online. We saw everything had changed and what was working for viral videos. Focused on reel content and prepared our videos. Since then we have grown our IG from 2.7K to 28.9K, TikTok from 450 to 13K, Facebook from 100 to nearly 10K, YouTube to nearly 1K, and growing all of our other socials as well. Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us online and in person! We will grow our masked society and change the entire landscape of the Hard Dance music scene. ðŸŽðŸ–¤ðŸ¤˜ #plaguedoctor
Reflecting on this past year, it's clear that adapting to new social media trends is crucial for growth, especially in niche music genres like Hard Dance. By embracing short-form video content, particularly reels on Instagram, we tapped into what users want to see right now—quick, engaging, and visually captivating clips. This shift wasn't just about posting content; it involved carefully preparing videos that matched viral trends while staying true to our unique style and message. One of the key lessons we learned is the power of consistency and engagement. Posting regularly while interacting with our community helped build trust and loyalty. Replying to comments and participating in relevant hashtags such as #plaguedoctor fostered a sense of belonging among our followers. Moreover, leveraging multiple platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube diversified our audience reach and protected us from algorithm changes on any single platform. Each channel has its own vibe, so tailoring the content to fit the platform dynamics was essential. I personally found that analyzing what content performs best and doubling down on those formats accelerated our growth. Also, collaborations with other artists and DJs expanded our network and added fresh energy to our channels. Overall, the journey has shown me that growth is a combination of creativity, adaptability, and community building. For anyone looking to elevate their presence in the electronic music scene or any niche, focusing on a multi-platform strategy with engaging reel content can be a game-changer. The Hard Dance music landscape is evolving, and by embracing these digital trends, we’re proud to be part of shaping its future.
