📚✨ Did you know the world's largest pop-up book is right here in Los Angeles?!

I stopped by the beautiful Central Library in Downtown LA and stumbled upon Luceros y Penumbras: The World's Largest Pop-Up Book—a breathtaking installation by Los Angeles artist Daniel González with paper engineering by Matthew Reinhart. It's on display in the library's stunning Rotunda as part of the library's 100th anniversary celebration. 🎉📖

Happy 100th Birthday to one of Los Angeles' greatest treasures! 🥳 From 1926–2026, the Central Library has inspired generations of readers, dreamers, writers, and curious minds. ❤️ It has definitely inspired my kids and me for many years!

This visit was extra special for me because our upcoming novel, Main Street and Mistletoe, features the Central Library, and while I was there, I introduced myself as a local author in hopes that one day our book might find a home on these shelves. That would truly be such an incredible honor. 🥹

✨ What's your favorite library? Or do you have a favorite spot inside a library where you always find yourself wandering?
