🍪 Chocolate Chip Cookies
Soft in the center, perfectly golden on the edges, and loaded with melty chocolate — these cookies taste like they came straight from a cozy bakery case.
🛒 Ingredients (Makes 18–24 cookies)
• 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
• ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs (room temperature)
• 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
• Optional: ½ cup chocolate chunks (for extra gooey centers)
• Optional: Flaky sea salt (for topping)

👩🍳 Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Mix dry ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. Cream butter & sugars:
In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
4. Add eggs & vanilla:
Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
5. Combine:
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix just until combined.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Scoop dough:
Use a cookie scoop or 2 tablespoons per cookie. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
8. Bake 9–11 minutes
Edges should be golden but centers slightly soft (they’ll finish setting as they cool).
9. Optional bakery trick:
Press a few extra chocolate chips on top right after baking + sprinkle flaky sea salt.
10. Cool on pan 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
