This dream has been on my heart since 2008, before “influencer” was even a word. This 60 day challenge is a public proclamation of the question I’ve been asking God for 17 years 😅. Is this actually what I’m supposed to be doing? And how? I’m not sure. I’m trying to just follow His lead.
When fear creeps in that this is a selfish quest, I look upward. In prayer and silence, this is the message that came to me: be a flower in the concrete, be a garden in Manhattan. 🎶
Is the internet a cesspool? In a lot of ways, yes. (That line is based on a real conversation I had recently!!) I think God has prepared me to now show up authentically here, within this community we’ve built, to be His light in a dark place. I have no idea what our videos will look like moving forward… but this was a heck of a lot of fun to make!
