💎 All Wigs Are Not Created Equally

The difference is always in the construction and the techniques used to build them.

In this video I’m showing how I created the color pop effect by blending two different hair colors directly on the sewing machine.

For this wig, I ran my natural brown bundles through about two thirds of the wig cap, then used 613 blonde hair in the last section to create that peekaboo skunk color effect that’s trending right now.

I pin both colors close together so when they go under the presser foot they sew together smoothly and stay exactly where I want them placed.

Then I sew over that section four to five times to lay both wefts flat and bind them together. It’s the same backstitch method I teach for securing the ends of your tracks so the wefts stay firmly attached to the cap.

Small construction details like this are exactly why all wigs are not created equally.
