Has anyone else tried this Palmer's Brazilian Coco

I purchased it today from Walgreens for $11.99.

it doesn't really have a strong scent, almost no scent to it. It's not meant for the whole family (husband, son's) since there are shimmers infused in it. No where on the package does it tell you that.

... Read moreOkay, so I finally got my hands on Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Brazilian Coco Cream that everyone's been talking about! My first impressions are in, and there's definitely more to unpack than just the price tag. First off, the shimmer surprise! The original post mentioned it, and let me tell you, it's absolutely there. It wasn't hinted at on the label, which was a little unexpected for a body cream, but I actually love the subtle glow it leaves on my skin. It's not glittery at all; imagine more of a luminous sheen, especially noticeable when the light catches your arm or décolletage. It really gives the skin a healthy, radiant look without being overpowering. If you're looking for that extra touch of glow for an evening out or just a little boost during the day, this cream delivers. Speaking of surprises, the scent profile for this whipped body cream is incredibly light, almost non-existent. For me, that's a huge plus! I'm pretty sensitive to strong fragrances, so the fact that this cream lets my perfume shine through, or just leaves me feeling fresh without an overpowering coconut smell, is fantastic. If you're looking for a tropical explosion every time you moisturize, this isn't it. However, if you prefer subtle, clean hydration that won't compete with other scents, you'll definitely appreciate it. Beyond the shimmer and scent, let's talk about what this whipped body cream *does*. The label proudly states it's 'for body' and provides 'moisture', featuring powerhouse ingredients like coconut oil and vitamin E. My skin felt incredibly soft and hydrated after applying it, and the texture absorbed quickly without any greasy residue. It truly does provide deep moisture, making my skin feel supple and smooth throughout the day. The net weight of 250g means you get a good amount of product for its price, making it a great value. As for the firming benefits mentioned on the label – that's often a longer-term goal with body creams. While I haven't used it long enough to see dramatic results, I appreciate that Palmer's includes ingredients aimed at improving skin elasticity. Regular use, especially massaging it into areas like the stomach, thighs, or arms, could definitely help create a smoother, more toned appearance over time. It's all about consistency and pairing it with a healthy lifestyle! Think of it as a supportive step in your skincare routine rather than an instant miracle worker. The richness of the cream with its coconut oil and vitamin E definitely contributes to overall skin health, which can, in turn, support firmness. Considering I grabbed this 250g jar from Walgreens for just $11.99, I think it offers fantastic value. The packaging is a classic white jar with a brown and orange label, making it easy to scoop out every last bit of product. It feels like a luxurious treat without breaking the bank. Overall, Palmer's Brazilian Coco Cream is a solid winner for me. If you're looking for a hydrating body cream with a barely-there scent, a gorgeous subtle shimmer, and ingredients like coconut oil and vitamin E to support skin health and firmness, I highly recommend giving it a try. Just remember, that shimmer means it might be more of a personal treat than a 'whole family' lotion, as the original post wisely pointed out!
