🔥 THE FIRE DIDN’T TAKE HER OUT 🔥
Some of us walked through fires this week that nobody knows about.
The fire of disappointment.
The fire of waiting.
The fire of grief.
The fire of uncertainty.
The fire of prayers that haven’t been answered yet.
Yet here you are.
Still standing.
Still believing.
Still trusting God.
Isaiah 43:2 doesn’t say we won’t walk through the fire. It says that when we do, God will be with us.
The fire may have surrounded you, but it could not consume what God was protecting.
As you enter this Saturday Pause, take a moment to reflect on the week behind you. Think about every challenge God carried you through, every tear He collected, and every time His grace showed up right on time.
The testimony isn’t that there was no fire.
The testimony is that God brought you through it.
💖 What fire has God carried you through recently?

“The flames will not set you ablaze.”

Life often places us in situations that feel like walking through a blazing fire—metaphors for difficult emotions such as disappointment, grief, uncertainty, and waiting for answers. The powerful message from Isaiah 43:2 reminds us that while the fire surrounds us, it will not consume us because God’s presence acts as a faithful protector. From personal experience, I have found that going through these 'fires' is not about the absence of hardship but about what sustains us during such moments. There were times I faced deep uncertainty and grief, wondering if the fire would ever end. But embracing faith and trusting that God is with me has been a source of strength. Remembering that these challenges are part of our journey and that grace can show up exactly when needed helps keep hope alive. Reflection is a crucial step in this process. Taking a moment to pause, as suggested in "The Saturday Pause," allows us to acknowledge every challenge overcome, each tear collected, and every small victory of grace. This practice has helped me appreciate the testimony of survival and faith, rather than focusing solely on the fire’s intensity. Sharing these reflections with friends or communities creates a powerful bond and encourages collective faith. Inviting others to pause and reflect nurtures a supportive network where experiences of God’s protection and presence can be shared openly. It reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles. Finally, the assurance that "The flames will not set you ablaze" brings comfort and inspires courage to continue forward. The fire may test our endurance, but it can never extinguish the spirit protected by divine faithfulness. Holding onto this truth transforms how we view hardships—not as overwhelming destruction but as moments refined by faith and resilience.
