Your Attitude Has A Dress Code

Culture often tells women to command attention, be the loudest voice in the room, and never let anyone mistake gentleness for weakness.
But the Kingdom has a different dress code.
When the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Colossae, he reminded them to clothe themselves with gentleness. Our attitude often speaks before we do. It has the power to open hearts or close them.
Having a demanding or harsh attitude may capture someone’s attention for a moment, but it rarely earns lasting respect. Over time, people stop hearing the message because they’re distracted by the delivery.
God never called us to lead with intimidation. He called us to lead with gentleness.
Gentleness isn’t weakness. It’s strength under the control of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus possessed all authority, yet He never needed to be harsh to prove it. He corrected with truth, led with compassion, and loved with grace. His gentleness never diminished His power—it revealed it.
As God prepares to elevate you, He also refines you. Promotion isn’t just about your gifts—it’s about your character. The higher He calls you, the more your attitude should reflect His heart.
Today, don’t just check your outfit.
Check your attitude. Because your attitude has a dress code.
