Verse of the day! Matthew 7:8 (NIV)🙏🏾✨ (Oct, 4, 25)
God will always provide what you need, what aligns with His will and the plan He has for your life. When you pray, He hears your heart, your wants, needs, and desires. Sometimes, He may not give you what you ask for because it doesn’t align with His purpose for you. But when you keep asking, seeking, and knocking, God will respond in ways beyond what you could imagine. So keep seeking Him, He will open the door in His perfect timing. What’s meant for you will never pass you by. 🙏🏾✨ #godsword #verseoftheday #bibleverse #biblestudy #fyp
Following up on today's powerful Verse of the Day, Matthew 7:8, I've been reflecting a lot on what it truly means to 'ask, seek, and knock.' It’s more than just making requests; it’s about a persistent, heartfelt pursuit of God and His will. There have been so many times in my life where I felt like I was knocking on a closed door, unsure if I'd ever get an answer. But what this verse, and many others, have taught me is that God’s timing is always perfect, even if it feels like forever. He really does hear our hearts. When I first learned about the concept of "ASK, Seek, Knock and it's yours," it truly shifted my prayer life. It’s not about badgering God, but about cultivating a deep relationship where I actively seek His wisdom and presence. There are moments when I feel completely overwhelmed, and it's in those times that I find comfort in verses like Lamentations 3:24 NIV: 'The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.' This verse is a beautiful reminder to place all my hope in Him, even when my concerns weigh heavily. It’s about patiently waiting for His guidance, talking to Him about everything, and trusting that He is enough. Building on that, I often find myself reflecting on Psalms 27:4 NIV: 'One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.' This isn't just about a physical place, but about seeking His presence in every aspect of my life. When life gets chaotic, simply taking deep breaths and finding rest in God’s presence can be transformative. It’s a call to make seeking Him our ultimate desire. This journey of seeking God naturally leads to grace and gratitude. When we trust in His provision and perfect timing, we start to see His hand in everything. Even in moments when I feel 'alone,' I've found strength in knowing God is always there. It’s a wonderful opportunity for deep personal reflection and connection with Him. These quiet times can be some of the most profound, allowing us to truly listen to His whispers. For anyone who feels like it's time to seek the Lord more intentionally, remember that He is always ready to meet you. Whether you're turning to popular Lent bible verses for reflection or simply needing a daily reminder from His word, His promises stand firm. Just as John 14:6 tells us, Jesus said, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' He is the ultimate path to understanding God's will and experiencing His boundless love. So, keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking – His door is always open for you. Trust in His word, and watch how He opens doors you never imagined.
