Verse of the day! Judges 6:12 (NIV)🙏🏾✨ Oct, 21, 25
God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called. You may feel unprepared or unworthy, but God isn’t looking for perfection, He’s looking for a willing heart. When you say yes to His call, even through fear and doubt, His strength and presence will equip and guide you. A willing heart is all He needs to begin the work through you. Stay safe & Stay blessed everyone!!!🙏🏾✨ #godsword #verseoftheday #bibleverse #biblestudy #fyp
I remember a time when I felt so overwhelmed by what I thought God was asking me to do. My inner dialogue was full of 'I'm not smart enough,' 'I'm not strong enough,' or 'I don't have the right experience.' It felt like I was trying to run a marathon, but my legs just weren't moving fast enough—like 'the race is not for the swift' was echoing in my mind, but not in a comforting way, more like a personal accusation. Then, I stumbled upon Judges 6, and specifically Judges 6:12, which truly resonated with me. Hearing about Gideon, who saw himself as the least in his family, and yet the angel of the Lord greets him as a 'mighty warrior' – it was a powerful revelation. It made me realize that God doesn't see us through our own limited eyes. He sees our potential, our spirit, and crucially, our 'willing heart.' The message that 'God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called' became a cornerstone for me. It's not about my abilities, but His. This truth has been 'god's word for me right now' in so many moments of doubt. This understanding also extends to how God interacts with us. There are times when I'm wrestling with a decision, or burdened by 'MY CONCERNS,' and before I even fully articulate my prayer, I feel a sense of peace or receive guidance. It's truly like the promise, 'before they call I will answer,' coming to life. It reminds me that God is always attentive, always present. And when I feel weak or incapable, I lean into the truth of 'through Christ who strengthens me.' It's not about mustering my own strength, but relying on His infinite power. The journey might be tough, and there are certainly days filled with tears and challenges. But just like the promise that 'joy comes in the morning,' I've learned to hold onto hope. Every sunrise brings a fresh opportunity to trust and to believe. It's about consistently bringing our requests to God, exactly as Hebrews 4:16 encourages us: to 'approach God's throne of grace for mercy and help' with confidence. There’s no need to clean ourselves up first; He invites us as we are. And in all of this, remembering to 'HONOR GOD' is key. The prayer from Matthew 6:9, 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,' isn't just words; it's a profound declaration of His holiness and sovereignty over everything in our lives. When I reflect on this, it puts my struggles and my callings into perspective. Ultimately, what I've learned through my own experiences and through verses like Judges 6:12 is that 'A Willing heart is enough for God.' He doesn't need us to be perfect; He just needs us to be present and willing to let Him work through us. It's an incredible, freeing truth that continues to guide me daily.
