Oh, Cabo San Lucas! Just thinking about it brings back the warmth of the sun and the sound of waves. When I first planned my trip, I was overwhelmed by all the stunning beaches, but after spending some time there, I feel like I've found some real gems I just have to share! One of the first places I wanted to explore was Monuments Beach. It kept popping up in my research, and I can see why it's a favorite among those in the know. Tucked away a bit, it's not as bustling as some of the more central beaches, which was perfect for me. The sand is soft, and the rock formations are absolutely breathtaking – a photographer's dream! If you're into surfing, this is definitely a spot to check out. I saw so many people catching waves, and the atmosphere was super chill. It’s also a fantastic place to just sit back, relax, and watch the surfers or enjoy a quiet moment away from the crowds. While I wasn't surfing myself, just watching the skill was mesmerizing. Of course, you can't talk about Cabo San Lucas beaches without mentioning Medano Beach. This is where all the action is! It's right in the heart of everything, close to many resorts, including places like Villa Del Arco. The energy here is infectious. You'll find vendors, jet skis, banana boats, and plenty of beachside restaurants and bars. While I loved the tranquility of Monuments, I definitely enjoyed the lively vibe of Medano. It’s easy to spend an entire day here, just soaking up the sun, taking a dip in the calm waters, or enjoying some fantastic food and drinks. I even heard some great Beach Music playing from nearby spots – a mix of Top 40 hits that really set the holiday mood. For something a bit more adventurous and incredibly picturesque, I also took a water taxi out to Lover's Beach and Divorce Beach, near the iconic Arch. These aren't beaches you can drive to, which makes them feel even more special. The contrast between the Pacific Ocean side (Divorce Beach, which can be rough) and the Sea of Cortez side (Lover's Beach, calm and perfect for swimming) is fascinating. The rock formations and crystal-clear water are simply stunning. It was an unforgettable experience, and I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for that postcard-perfect Cabo moment. Beyond these specific spots, one of the best things about Cabo's coastline is just exploring. Every beach offers something a little different, whether you're looking for a quiet escape, a surfing challenge, or a lively party atmosphere. My advice? Don't be afraid to wander a bit. Bring plenty of sunscreen, a good book, and be ready to be amazed by the natural beauty. Whether you're staying at a luxurious resort or exploring on a budget, the beaches here are truly world-class and offer something for everyone. It's a destination I'm already dreaming of returning to!
