$28.80++ RAMEN BUFFET?! 🍜
we chanced upon a tiktok video sharing about this ramen buffet and we knew we had to try it🤤
we went on a tuesday night at around 7.20 and we didn't have to queue for a seat, although we did have to sit at the counter seats (we were okay with that!)
we got one portion of everything on the menu to try, although we split the orders into three batches so that the food wouldn't be sitting out for too long. pretty much all the food came hot and everything was pretty good. the tonkotsu base is a bit milkier than your average ramen broth, but it is an interesting difference👾
my top 3 items would be
- premium yuzu ramen -
i love a good yuzu broth and this broth was a little lighter than some of the others i've tried before, but it really balances out well and it was a great dish especially since the rest of the dishes were slightly heavier on the palette. i also love how despite the lightness of the taste, the broth coated the noodles really well so you could taste the yuzu freshness even while slurping up the noods🥢
- mazesoba -
honestly, i don't think you can really go wrong with mazesoba. the sinfulness of slurping up the coated creamy noodles is always just ‼️ and this bowl also does not disappoint. they do have two options, one comes with chicken nanban which was pretty good as well!
- age tofu -
such an underdog, i never would've expected it to be this good! it was pretty much like a vegetarian style nugget, but the juiciness was 🤯 and it was panfried as well so the outside is crispy. if there was a recipe i could request from them it would be this. yum.
anyway we definitely over ordered because there were only 2 of us but is it really a buffet if you don't leave feeling like you're about to explode and fall into a food coma on the spot?
i'll say this is worth a try, but i would definitely recommend ordering your food in batches (the food takes around 5-10 minutes to arrive) so you can have enough time to eat and prepare your stomach for battle again 🧘🏻♀️
⚠️ the buffet duration is 90 minutes
⚠️ this buffet is only available at their guoco tower outlet
If you're planning to visit Kiwami's ramen buffet at Guoco Tower, here are some tips I found helpful during my visit. The buffet runs for 90 minutes, so pacing your orders is key to trying a wide selection without rushing. Ordering small batches allows you to enjoy the ramen and side dishes hot and fresh. The buffet menu also features more than just ramen bowls—don’t miss the tasty age tofu, which is perfectly crispy and juicy, almost like a vegetarian nugget. If you crave something rich, the mazesoba with creamy noodles satisfies those indulgent cravings well. For drinks and desserts, the buffet includes options like yuzu honey in hot or cold versions and even matcha ice cream, which rounds off the meal nicely. Be mindful that this buffet is only offered at the Guoco Tower outlet and is subject to certain terms like no takeaway and a 90-minute dine-in limit. Also, the pricing includes service charge and GST, so plan accordingly. Overall, this ramen buffet is a fantastic option for ramen lovers wanting variety and great flavors without breaking the bank. Definitely worth trying if you’re in Singapore and near Guoco Tower!
