DIY Vision Board 💕
First time making a prayer/vision board 🤍
I would honestly recommend this!
it was a lot of fun to sit down and plan out some goals for the new year. I hung it up on my wall where I can see it every day, and it’s a great motivational reminder for the goals I have set for myself and what I hope to achieve in the upcoming year, Lord willing 🫶🏻
2025 is going to be the year ✨
Have you ever made a prayer/vision board? 💕

So, you've seen my excitement about making my 2025 vision board and might be wondering, "How do I even start?" or "Why bother?" Well, let me tell you, creating a vision board, or a dream board as some call it, is more than just a fun craft project; it's a powerful tool for manifesting your desires and staying focused on what truly matters to you in life. Think of it as your personal roadmap to success and happiness for the year ahead. It’s a visual representation of your goals, dreams, and aspirations. When you physically create this board, you’re engaging multiple senses and solidifying your intentions. It helps you clarify what you want and serves as a constant, daily reminder to keep pushing towards those dreams. For me, it's also a wonderful way to connect my goals with my spiritual journey, turning it into a prayer board as well. Ready to make your own? Here's how I approach it: 1. Gather Your Supplies: You don't need anything fancy! A sturdy poster board or corkboard is perfect. Then, collect magazines, printouts of images or quotes, stickers, glue, scissors, and maybe some colorful markers. Don't forget photos that inspire you! 2. Brainstorm Your Vision for Life: This is the heart of your vision board. Take some quiet time to reflect. What do you truly want to achieve in 2025? Break it down into categories: Career/Education: New job, promotion, learning a new skill? Health & Wellness: Fitness goals, healthy eating habits, mental well-being? Relationships: Nurturing friendships, family connections, finding love? Personal Growth/Spirituality: Developing a new talent, deepening your faith, more prayer time? (This ties into my #goalswithgod and prayer board concept!) Finances: Saving for a down payment, paying off debt, increasing income? Travel/Adventures: Places you want to visit, experiences you want to have? Home/Environment: Creating a peaceful living space, decluttering? Write these down first to get a clear picture. 3. Curate Your Images and Words: Now comes the fun part! Go through your magazines or search online for images and words that deeply resonate with your brainstormed goals. For example, if you want to travel to Italy, find a beautiful picture of the Colosseum. If you want a promotion, find an image that represents success or leadership. Don’t be afraid to be specific! If you're making your 2025 vision board focused on spiritual growth, look for scriptures, symbols, or serene landscapes. 4. Assemble Your Dream Board: Start arranging your collected items onto your board. There's no right or wrong way to do this; let your creativity flow! Some people like a neat, organized grid, while others prefer a more chaotic, collage-style look. Overlap images, add handwritten affirmations, or use stickers to emphasize certain words. Make sure your most important goals are prominent. 5. Place It Strategically: Once your vision board is complete, find a place where you'll see it every single day. Mine is hung right on my wall, so it's the first thing I see when I wake up and the last before I sleep. This constant visual reinforcement is key to keeping your goals top of mind and motivating you. 6. Engage with Your Board: Don't just hang it and forget it! Take a few moments each day to look at your board. Visualize yourself achieving those goals. Feel the emotions of success. This daily practice helps program your subconscious mind and keeps you aligned with your aspirations. It truly makes a difference in your "vision board life." And remember, it's okay to adjust it throughout the year if your goals evolve! Making my 2025 vision board for the first time has been such an inspiring journey, and I genuinely believe it can be for you too. It's a beautiful way to invest in yourself and proactively design the life you truly desire. Here's to making 2025 our best year yet!
