New House!!

Oh my gosh, I'm so excited to finally share my latest Sims 4 creation, the Blackstone Estate! This build has been a true labor of love, and I poured so much thought into every little detail to make it feel truly special. When I first envisioned the Blackstone Estate, I wanted something grand yet cozy, a place where my Sims could truly thrive. I spent hours browsing Pinterest for inspiration, looking at modern farmhouse designs mixed with a touch of classic elegance. One of the biggest challenges, and also the most fun, was trying out a stop motion exterior tour! It was my first time really diving into that, and while it definitely took some patience, I think the result really captures the essence of the home as it's built from the ground up. It gives you a whole new perspective on how a house comes together in Sims 4. If you're thinking of trying stop motion for your own builds, my top tip is to take lots of screenshots from slightly different angles and then piece them together. It's tedious, but so rewarding! Now, about the custom content – it's truly what brings the Blackstone Estate to life! I'm a huge fan of finding unique CC that adds character without overwhelming the build. For the windows, the SYB A Frame series and [algu] Christa set really gave the exterior that modern, open feel I was going for, letting in so much natural light. And the paint! Nature's Mosaic combined with Netsims basic walls in greyscale created this beautiful, sophisticated palette that feels both fresh and timeless. Inside, I wanted comfort and style. The riptide CC Desert Clay Living sofas are just divine – so plush and inviting! Paired with Nynaeve Design's Terra Lounge Chair, it creates the perfect spot for Sims to relax. The DbA@TSR_MD Outdoors Sectionals are fantastic for creating seamless outdoor living areas, perfect for those lovely Sims 4 evenings. And let's not forget the little details like the Bilboquet EndTable2 and SIMcredible Vocatio plants, which add those vital touches of realism and warmth. Building the Blackstone Estate was more than just placing walls and furniture; it was about crafting a story within the game.
