Summer Diary Day 3
Hiii! Today was a pretty chill day. I just met my friend for coffee and ran into a bunch of mutual friends which was fun. Sola Coffee Cafe has my favorite coconut latte bc it just tastes like summer in a cup
Then I finished the diary challenge and got to claim my Lemo doll!! I’m so excited to get him he’s actually so cute
In the afternoon I shot a bunch of content for the brands I work for but it was brutal bc it was like 100° outside and I was shooting their winter arrivals 😅 but I got it all done and I loved this red dress 👍
It's officially Day 3 of my summer diary, and I'm loving documenting these moments! Sometimes, the simplest days are the best, and today was definitely one of those. It all started with a much-needed coffee date at my favorite spot, Sola Coffee Cafe. If you've never been, you have to check it out! The vibe there is just unmatched – super cozy, with shelves stacked high with coffee bags and bottles, and they even have this incredible, unique counter crafted from the back of a vintage red and white Greenbrier car. It’s such a cool detail and makes the whole place feel so special. I swear, their coconut latte just transports me straight to a tropical paradise; it’s literally summer in a cup and my ultimate go-to. While sipping my latte and catching up with friends, I got the most exciting notification! Remember how I've been doing the Lemon8 diary challenge? Well, today was the day I finally completed it! That little pop-up on my screen, showing the yellow Lemo doll jumping out of a gift box with confetti, instantly brought a huge smile to my face. It said, 'Challenge completed! You did it! Claim Lemo doll now!' with shipping details, and I couldn't hit that 'Claim gift' button fast enough. I'm so thrilled to get my very own Lemo doll – he's just the cutest little guy and a perfect memento of this summer's adventures and creative journey on Lemon8. It's such a fun way to keep motivated and connect with what I'm doing online. The afternoon took a slightly less 'chill' turn, but still a productive one! I had a bunch of content to shoot for some brands I work with. Cue the glamour: shooting winter arrivals when it's a scorching 100°F outside! 🥵 Talk about dedication, right? But honestly, I love the process, and pushing through the heat was worth it, especially when I got to wear this stunning vibrant red long-sleeved midi dress. It has a chic tie waist and a flowy tiered skirt that just feels so elegant. Paired with nude heels and my go-to black shoulder bag, it made for some amazing shots against the building backdrop. It’s always a challenge to create that 'winter wonderland' illusion when the sun is blazing, but seeing the final photos makes all the sweat and effort totally disappear. This summer diary has really made me appreciate how every day, even the seemingly mundane ones, holds so much potential for joy and productivity. Whether it's a quiet moment with a delicious coffee, the excitement of a small win like claiming a Lemo doll, or the creative buzz of a content shoot, there's always something to be grateful for.
