From my personal experience, the key to achieving a long-lasting and flawless press on nail look lies in proper nail prep. Before applying the nails, make sure your natural nails are clean, dry, and free from oils or lotions. I recommend gently buffing the surface of your nails and using a nail dehydrator if available to help the adhesive bond better. One trick that I found incredibly useful is pressing firmly at the center and then towards the edges when applying the press ons. This ensures there are no gaps or air bubbles that can cause lifting over time. Also, avoid applying the nails immediately after a shower or any activity that could cause moisture retention under the nails. When it comes to removal, do not force the nails off as this can damage your natural nails. Soaking your nails in warm, soapy water or using an acetone-based remover designed for press ons helps to gently loosen the adhesive without harm. If you experience any lifting or discomfort during wear, try a small dab of nail glue on the lifted area to secure the nail back in place. For anyone who is new to press on nails, following these steps and persistently practicing will yield the best results and keep your nails looking chic for up to two weeks. Remember, patience and careful handling are essential for maintaining both the quality of the press on nails and the health of your natural nails.
