Spending extra time delving into the Word over the weekend can truly transform your spiritual perspective. I recently took a quiet afternoon to reflect on Psalms 9 and 10, which offer a profound message about God’s righteous judgment and unwavering protection for those who seek Him. These Psalms remind us that despite the challenges and enemies we face, God’s majesty and justice reign supreme. What struck me most was the vivid imagery of God’s eternal throne and His care for humanity — "What is man that You are mindful of him?" This question invites me to humbly recognize the depth of God’s love. It also reassures me that He is a stronghold in times of trouble, a refuge I can trust when life feels overwhelming. One meaningful practice I found helpful is singing or meditating on "How Majestic Is Your Name," which encapsulates the awe and reverence we feel for God’s greatness. Incorporating worship alongside reading scripture deepened my connection and brought peace to my heart. I encourage you to pick a Psalm or passage that speaks to you and spend some intentional time this weekend reading, praying, or journaling about it. Sharing your reflections with friends or online communities can also enrich your experience and provide encouragement.
