❤️ ½ cup extra strong brewed coffee or espresso, hot
❤️ 1 tablespoon Biscoff cookie butter, room temperature
❤️ 1 teaspoon brown sugar
❤️1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-Brew very strong coffee or espresso.
2-Heat the milk in the microwave for 1 minute. You want the milk to feel fairly hot to the touch but not so hot it would burn your finger.
3-While milk it heating, add the cookie butter to your hot coffee and mix until it is dissolved (You can use a small whisk, a fork, or a handheld frothing wand).
4-Then add the brown sugar and vanilla extract and stir again, mixing until dissolved.
5-Add the hot milk to a mason jar and close the lid. Shake the jar for 1-2 minutes until you see foam begin to form. It is recommended to open the lid after the first 15-20 seconds to allow some of the excess heat to escape.
I make this a lot and even got my husband to drink it! One of our favorites!!
... Read moreI'm so excited you're looking to dive into the world of Biscoff Cookie Butter Lattes! This recipe is seriously one of my absolute favorites, bringing cozy, spiced coffee shop magic right into your kitchen. Once you try this delicious Biscoff drink, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!
While the basic recipe is simple, I've picked up a few tips to elevate it to café-quality. First, always use a really strong brew or fresh espresso. That robust coffee flavor perfectly balances the sweetness and spiced notes of the cookie butter. If you don't have an espresso machine, a Moka pot or French press works great for intense flavor.
For the Biscoff cookie butter, ensure it’s at room temperature for easy dissolving into your hot coffee. If it's a bit stiff, let the heat of your mug gently soften it for a few seconds before stirring until fully incorporated. You can also adjust the brown sugar to your taste; I find 1 teaspoon perfect, but feel free to add a little more if you prefer it sweeter.
Now, for the milk! The mason jar shake method is fantastic for a quick foam, but a handheld frother is also excellent. Just ensure your milk is warm enough to begin with. Want to make your latte truly decadent? This is where the magic happens! I love topping mine with a generous swirl of whipped cream, a delicate caramel drizzle, and a sprinkle of crushed Biscoff cookies. It makes it look and taste like a special treat straight from a fancy café!
Craving an iced version? It's super easy! Just brew your coffee, dissolve the cookie butter, sugar, and vanilla as usual, then let it cool slightly before pouring over ice. You can still add frothed milk, or for an extra indulgence, create a cookie butter cold foam! Simply froth some cold milk with a tiny bit of Biscoff cookie butter and a dash of sweetener until it's thick and airy, then spoon it over your iced latte. Heavenly on a warm day!
You can also get creative with flavors. A pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg can add another layer of warmth. And if you're a fan of other nutty tastes, this recipe adapts beautifully! I've successfully swapped Biscoff spread for peanut butter or even tried a pistachio butter latte recipe. The core method is the same, opening up endless possibilities for your own signature drinks.
Beyond lattes, that amazing Biscoff cookie butter is incredibly versatile! I often spread it on toast, drizzle it over oatmeal, or use it for quick desserts. It's truly a pantry staple for any spiced cookie lover.
I hope these tips inspire you to make the best Biscoff Cookie Butter Latte ever and explore more delicious ways to enjoy this fantastic spread!
