How I mix modern + vintage in my home

I love to incorporate both modern and vintage finds in my home. Vintage and antique pieces can include timeless silhouettes and unmatched quality whereas modern pieces can provide more functional features which is why I like to incorporate both elements in my space. For example, I love this modern couch from Ikea. It has a classic silhouette and style making it match nicely with my other pieces. I paired it with a vintage marble top coffee table. This coffee table has classic elements, just like the couch but it also has unmatched quality (solid real marble!) and a hardcarved wood base. Another modern piece I have purchased and love is this extra long console table. This room had very specific dimensions and due to this, I could only find modern pieces that would work - but that’s okay! It’s one of my favorite furniture finds.
