How I made my rental feel like home
I love being a renter but sometimes it can be challenging to make a space feel like your own. Feeling at home in your space is a must! When I moved into my house I started working on some renter friendly projects that made a huge difference:
Fresh paint! With my landlords approval, I painted the matte gray walls a glossy, warm white. A true clean slate!
Peel and stick wallpaper! I wallpapered my bathroom with renter friendly wallpaper and it transformed the space. I found this wallpaper on Amazon and it was under $200 for the materials!
Hanging my art. I love art and I’ve collected some really special pieces. Finally hanging and showcasing my art really made my space feel like home. I added some rechargeable art lights as well! A great renter friendly option as they can be installed with no electrical permits.
Planting a garden. I added some flowers in my garden and it really made this house feel like home. It brings me joy everyday to see the blooms!
