Without the pressure of a strict schedule, I found myself exploring new interests and revisiting old passions that the busy years had sidelined. This freedom to choose what to do every day enhances overall well-being and provides a deep sense of satisfaction. Additionally, retirement is a great time to focus on self-care and health, which often gets neglected during working years. Taking leisurely walks, practicing mindfulness, or engaging in light exercise helped me maintain both physical and mental vitality. What also adds to the joy of retirement is the chance to cultivate social connections more intentionally.
