Ok, so this is something I wish someone would’ve told me along time ago! You know how you see photo shoots 🎥 or even streamers 📹.. with the backdrop hanging on the stand? Have you ever wanted to shoot or stream but didn’t have the set up quite right? Well, let me put you on game!
Disclaimer: I understand this isn’t a PROFESSIONAL set up… but you will get professional results with some work and imagination!
Walmart has a $9 clothing rack that you can use as a photo backdrop stand! The assembly was super easy (no tools ⚒️ 🧰Item: required). It’s about 5.5 feet tall and about 5 feet wide. It’s not the biggest, but for portraits it will work! I also went to the 5 Quarter Store (Dollar Tree 🌲) and grabbed a pair of clamps just to secure my backdrop onto the rack. So the total of my backdrop stand would be a little over $10. Compared to the Amazon one.. THAT IS A FREAKING STEAL! I would say to go this route if you are making content at home, want to get into streaming, or just want to save a few coins ‼️The clothing rack also has wheels 🛞 …so you can transport it almost anywhere. Use it at a baby shower or just hang your clothes on it.. the possibilities are truly endless! 💅🏾✨
PS: you don’t need a professional backdrop either- I got a few yards of the satin fabric from Walmart for like 7$..I’m thinking to create my own backdrop on another project!
