Today was an especially exciting day!! I woke up early and had a productive morning before classes, and then in my class called Theatrical Film Symposium, we got to see an early screening of Guillermo Del Torro’s Frankenstein. It was so good!!!! Then he came in to answer questions and talk about the film 🤯 it was so awesome. Just another reason I love USC!

A typical morning often starts early, hitting the gym for some cardio on the treadmill, much like I did before diving into my studies. Fueling up is key, and I often prep healthy meals like those delicious overnight oats to keep me going through a busy schedule. It's all about finding that balance between academics and self-care, which is so crucial in college.
USC's campus truly is a dream. You see those iconic palm trees everywhere, swaying gently against the historic buildings, creating that classic Southern California vibe that visitors often associate with our school. Places like the USC Village offer such a lively atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a coffee with friends, studying outdoors, or just hanging out between classes. The blend of modern amenities with the timeless charm of our campus makes every walk an experience. Getting to classes, whether it's to the historic Geology Hall for a hands-on lab, or navigating the beautiful pathways to the library, always feels inspiring. And speaking of the library, it's my absolute go-to spot for locking in and getting work done – surrounded by incredible architecture, centuries of knowledge, and a quiet buzz of student productivity. It’s amazing how much focus you can find there.
What I really love about USC student life is the constant blend of rigorous academics, exciting social events, and those 'only at USC' moments that truly define your college experience. One day it's a deep dive into narrative studies, exploring complex theories and classic literature, the next it's an unexpected encounter with a legendary filmmaker at Frank Sinatra Hall, discussing his creative process. This academic diversity is something I truly appreciate, allowing me to explore different interests like my Geology Lab even as a narrative studies major. There's always something happening, whether it's a campus event hosted by a student organization, a thought-provoking guest lecture, a lively sports game, or just enjoying the vibrant community with classmates. Even simple things, like making food after a long day of classes, become part of the routine that makes up this unique university life.
Living and learning here feels like being part of something bigger. The opportunities for growth, both academically and personally, are immense. From the daily routines of studying and staying active, to the extraordinary events that pop up, every moment contributes to an unforgettable college journey. It truly reinforces why I chose USC and why I cherish my experience here, surrounded by such a dynamic environment and brilliant minds.
