📔Last week I had the pleasure of attending The African (Black) American Writer’s Alliance Reading Event. It was held at Elliot Bay Book Company. This was an event celebrating Black History Month by honoring books, poems, and authors who reflect our ancestors rich history.
This prestigious chapter of The Northwest Pacific Alliance was started 35 years ago. Many individuals from all over come during the month of February to celebrate. One individual who played a wooden instrument came all the way from Vermont. Some of the authors are singers as well. A wonderful experience. One of my goals to become a published author.📔
