get into the gym!
I have reached a full month and 1/2 of going to gym consistently 4x a week. I used to be a gym rat growing up, super athlete always going to the gym, always playing sports. That ended terribly after my last relationship with which was VERY TOXIC and I ate way more than I expected and got depressed/unmotivated , drifted from that gym life. I have overcome those habits, changed my lifestyle such as the way i eat and think becoming more productive. I’m 3 years going on a pescatarian. In my current relationship my boyfriend is my top supporter and motivator and that’s made such a huge difference as well. But i tell you what, ever since I have become consistent I have felt better, less back pain, feeling less of that body shaming in myself. #Lemon8Diary
Returning to the gym after a setback can be daunting, especially after experiencing personal challenges such as a toxic relationship. However, consistency is key to reinvigorating your fitness journey. Many people find it beneficial to establish a routine, like going to the gym four times a week, to maintain motivation and keep track of progress. Additionally, adopting a healthy diet, such as a pescatarian lifestyle, can further enhance physical well-being. Partner support plays a crucial role in this transformation, providing encouragement on hard days and sharing accomplishments. It's also important to acknowledge mental health, as exercising can significantly reduce feelings of depression and improve self-esteem. If you're just starting out or looking to regain your gym habits, set realistic goals, track your progress, and don't hesitate to seek social support. Whether it's through workout buddies, online communities like #Lemon8Diary, or setting personal milestones, staying connected can help you stay on track and celebrate your achievements along the way.
