Homework Debate
Kids don’t need more busywork after 7 hours in school! They need rest, family, and time to just be kids. I feel like I’m watching my boys’ love of learning die when I have to make them do their homework every night, but at least we’ve finally gotten into a routine that makes it go as smooth as possible.

My kids have homework time to time and if it isn’t done the get zeros with no chance to make it up. They go to a charter school and they have strict standards. They are old enough now to know to do it at school or that’s what they do when they get home before they get on any electronics. My youngest doesn’t mind doing it at home bc she knows it’s extra time with mommy
