angels cry
Silent tears fall from above
Angels weep with hearts of love
Their whispers echo through the night
As sorrow takes its gentle flight
Their wings, once shining bright and white
Now dimly flutter, lost in plight
Their eyes, like sapphires, overflow
With grief that only heaven knows
The stars above, a mournful sigh
As angels cry, the skies grow dry
Their lamentations, pure and true
A sorrow that echoes, through and through i only smile when I think of you.
it's a hard act to smile while hurt inside
but its a pain I have learned to hide no one really knows how angels do cry.
Reading 'Angels Cry' really made me think about how often people hide their pain behind a smile. The poem beautifully portrays angels as beings who experience grief silently and deeply, symbolizing the struggles many of us face in our own lives. I remember a time when I, too, found it difficult to show my sadness. Like the angels in the poem, I learned to conceal my hurt to protect myself and those around me. The imagery of the angels' wings losing their brightness and their eyes overflowing with grief felt especially powerful. It reminded me of how sorrow can dim even the brightest parts of our spirit, yet there is still love and beauty in that vulnerability. The mention of stars as a mournful sigh added a cosmic depth that felt almost therapeutic, suggesting that sadness is a universal experience—and not something we endure alone. What struck me the most was the poem's message about smiling through the pain. It's a hard act, truly, and one that many can relate to but few openly admit. I found comfort in knowing that there is a hidden strength in that act, much like the angels' quiet crying. It inspired me to be more compassionate, both to myself and others, understanding that everyone may be fighting unseen battles. Overall, 'Angels Cry' offers a gentle reminder of the profound connection between sorrow, love, and resilience, encouraging us to acknowledge and honor our feelings. Sharing this poem could be a way to open up conversations about emotional pain and healing, breaking the silence that surrounds these experiences.
